NOTD Royal Flush

Since I hurt my foot and can't do much of anything, I decided to get creative with my nails. I wanted to try something fun. I've seen a lot of people doing one nail of glitter or something as a fun accent to ordinary nails. I decided to take that up a notch and bedazzle mine. I have been obsessed with purple lately and found a really pretty color called "Let's Talk" from Sinful Colors. You can get Sinful Colors nail polish at almost any drugstore and they are only $1.99. I actually prefer them over O.P.I. and Essie. I bought rhinestone stickers from Michaels, but you can get them at any craft store in any variation of colors you want. The stickers I bought were around $3. Lastly, I bought Kiss Everlasting French press on nails for $6. In all, this nail project cost around $11. Not bad for adorable nails that last almost 2 weeks! Kiss press on nails always stay on my nails pretty well, but you will just have to see for yourself :) Enjoy my beauties!

Makeup I'm In Love With 2

Ok so recently I bought a crap ton of makeup from E.L.F. for half price! I love their makeup soooo much. Their makeup comes in smaller quantities, but is dirt cheap, so you can't really be mad. They had a sale where if you spent at least $20 you got 10 mineral eye shadows for free! you heard me right...FREE! I jumped on that deal the first chance I got. So far I really like how they look, and they blend extremely well!

So here are the things I got, and a small description...
I bought 3 eyeshadow brushes from E.L.F. I got the contour brush, small precision brush and eyeshadow brush. They are extremely soft and apply makeup fabulously. The contour brush blends wonderfully and I am in love with it....in.love.with.it!
The mineral eye shadows are gorgeous! They come in a pretty small container but with mineral shadows, they tend to last a lot longer. I got ten different shades, all of which are shimmery and fabulous!
When it comes time to "take off your face", these wipes work really well. Added bonus, they smell pretty good too!

So, I wasn't too sure about this when I bought it, but now I am a believer. It's a spray that you put on your face after your makeup is applied that keeps your skin moisturized so your makeup looks better and your face never looks dry.
I bought the blush in this white/pearly shade and I use it as a highlighter. I love the way it looks, makes your face look luminous.
This is the same blush, in a peachy coral shade. Looks fab on and is a nice spring color.
This smokey eye palette is from Coastal Scents and was only $22.95. I thought I was taking crazy pills, I wasn't sure this company was legit because the prices are too good to be true! I love all the colors and am having so much fun playing with combos.
This palette is also from Coastal Scents. This is the blush/contour palette. I ABSOLUTELY love love love this and use it every day!
MAC Viva Glam lipstick is THE perfect nude lipstick. It is my go to now, I wear it almost every day, I am in love :)

Well there you have it my beauties, enjoy!

New Adventures

For the past few months I have been back and forth, back and forth, back and forth about what I want to "do with my life". I know I want to something that makes people feel better about themselves. I have always done my friends' hair and makeup for them for fun. I love making them look their best and helping give them confidence. I have thought about cosmetology school  for a loooooong time, but my interest is more in make up artistry than hair. Recently I was just browsing the internet and I stumbled across make up artist trainings. Of course, there were ZERO in Idaho. Sad sad sad. But then....I found a few online programs that sound awesome! I am enrolling in a 4 week online program that is to die for. I will be learning from DVD's, a workbook, power point presentations and practicing on volunteers. The school will send me a professional travel carry case, a crap ton of makeup, and all the instructional materials I will need. I am beyond excited for all the possibilities this will bring for me. Being a stay at home mom, I have been feeling a void. I love spending every day with Lola, but I need to feel useful and productive at the same time. Once I get my makeup career going, I will be able to book and schedule appointments based on my schedule and still be able to spend lots of time with my baby girl. I cannot wait to start this new chapter in my life, and be doing something I absolutely love!

Makeup I'm In Love With

Alright ladies...I have been blessed to have an awesome makeup hookup! A friend of mine gets TONS of free makeup samples from her Aunt, and the sweetie that she is, she always gives me a bunch of fun stuff! She recently gave me a huge bag of makeup, mostly consisting of Smashbox products (which are my favorite anyway). I have to say that I am obsessed with their Burlesque line.

The colors go great for a colorful smoky eye. The shimmer powder that comes with it is gorgeous, very light and pearly. You will love it! I got it for $FREE.99 but the price is awesome for all that you get. The eye shadows last a really long time and are so fun!

Smashbox's lip glosses are amazing! I absolutely love them to death. They add a pretty color without being too thick and sticky like some lip glosses can be. $18

A friend of mine recently got me hooked on E.L.F. products. E.L.F. stands for eyes lips face and all of their products are $10 and under. They are fabulous! I recently ordered a ton of stuff for only $25. They are always having sales. So you get their products dirt cheep, and they work really well. Here's a few of my faves...
I got the mineral blush in "pink" and it was only $5.00!
For those of you with unruly eyebrows, this works like a charm and won't hurt your wallet because it is only $3.00!

All of E.L.F.'s makeup brushes are only $1.00! It's nuts...go to their website, you will love it!

These are just a few of my favorites so far. I'll definitely update again with some more!
